Working with Kids, Teens & Parents
A consultation group for clinicians who work with school refusal, explosive behavior, suicidal ideation, cutting and other NSSI, and diagnoses such as autism, ADHD, OCD, PDA, anxiety, ODD, and more.
Explore your clients' strengths and challenges through a trauma-informed, neurodevelopmental lens, and identify the therapeutic and community supports they need to lower stress behaviors and increase access to their strengths and skills.
My approach is based on the works of clinicians and researchers Mona Delahooke, Bruce Perry, Tina Bryson, Dan Siegel, Ross Greene, Robyn Gobbel, Deb Dana, Stephen Porges, Bessel van Der Kolk and more.
This group does not support the use of methods that focus on eliminating unwanted behaviors through rewards and punishments, such as ABA. For more information on why ABA is harmful, you can learn more at Neuroclastic HERE.
